Air conditioners are the biggest single cost in most home utility bills.
Put your energy hog on a diet by making your central air equipment
operate at top efficiency.

importance of air balancing |
Air conditioning efficiency is expressed in Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratios (SEER) stated as numbers 10 through 18. Higher numbers indicate greater efficiency.
Using 10 SEER as a baseline, 13 SEER equipment runs about 30 percent more efficiently, while 18 SEER units are approximately 80 percent more efficient. Higher efficiency models use less electricity because they run less often.
Many home air conditioning systems are poorly maintained, which results in performance below rated SEER levels. The 10 SEER units installed in most homes built through 2005 often operate at 6-to-8 SEER, or less, depending on how well they have been maintained.
We can’t overstate the importance of annual tune ups. Flower Mound, Lewisville and Denton County are hot from early spring through late fall, which makes your central air work hard for months on end. North Texans may get only 7-to-8 years of service from AC equipment that last 15 years or longer in the Midwest.
We usually are able to restore your central air conditioning to factory specs with a few adjustments or by replacing a part or two, as long as it hasn’t been seriously neglected. It will run less frequently, so it will use less electricity and last longer.
We perform thousands of air conditioner tune ups every year. On average, we improve AC efficiency by at least 30 percent, so most customers recover the cost (regular price $79) in a matter of weeks.
But even better is our $99 Universal Protection Plan service agreement, which covers annual tune ups for all the air conditioning and heating systems in your home (our average customer has more than three). We even include a plumbing tune up to provide even more value. You also get priority emergency service and value rate pricing. Get all the details here.
